It’s always exciting to get the cover art for a project. You think, “Yes, this is going to be a real book!” This is my book — an eight-week study series — about basic Christian beliefs and practices in historical and ecumenical perspectives. 
Mike Surber at Wipf and Stock Publishers has done a great job with this cover art, integrating a Byzantine font for the title, a background image of a Byzantine Gospel manuscript, and an image of an oil-burning lamp like those used in ancient Christian communities.
