At the Publisher: The Sky Is Falling!

I just sent in the manuscript of a new, short book tentatively entitled The Sky Is Falling, The Church Is Dying, and Other Malevolent Myths. First line as a teaser:

It’s a bummer to wake up in the morning and hear that you’re dead.

This book tries to offer some encouragement to Christians in historic Protestant churches in the USA, dismantling some of the more pernicious rumors of our demise. To be published by Abingdon Press in the next year. Stay tuned right here …
